You've just bought a DJI drone and have no idea which app is the right one that works with your drone. Downloading the correct app can be a little confusing with the numerous apps available for DJI's various products. Let's break it down to make it easier.
DJI Fly is the app you'll be using for any of the latest Mavic, Mini, Air, or FPV drones from DJI. The app is updated often and is what we would call DJI's flagship app.

DJI Pilot is the enterprise app used with the Matrice series and the Mavic 2 Enterprise series.
DJI Pilot SE is a customised version of the standard DJI Pilot app and is exclusively deployed with FlightHub on a private cloud server.

DJI Mimo is the company's app for its latest handled devices, except for the Ronin series. The app allows you to control your phone gimbal, all-in-one gimbal and camera, and the Osmo action camera.

The Tello app is used to control the Ryze Tech Tello series of drones. This version of the app is standard and uses a simple interface to control the drone.

The Tello EDU app is a more advanced version of the Tello app with the added ability to code directly in the app and is meant for more of an educational STEAM environment but can still be used by anyone with a Tello drone.

DJI Virtual Flight is the company's flight simulator app for its FPV drone. The app allows DJI FPV owners to practice flying and ensure they are ready to fly the real drone.

DJI GO 4 was released with the Phantom 4 and is used to interact with some of the company's most well-known drones, such as the original Mavic Pro and Spark. The latest drones no longer use the app, with DJI Fly being the latest app.
